Welcome to the new, official, Vernon River Plantation website. This site has been built, and will be maintained, by a neighbor who has volunteered to provide this service. From time-to-time, there may be mistakes or omissions but I will do my best to try to give you a useful source of information and resources to help make living in VRP a great choice.

SUMMER SECURITY NOTICE
In many places in the US, car break-ins and other crime increases when school is out. Vernon River is no different. Recently, we've been informed of a number of incidents when cars were entered at night , usually without breaking in. This is a reminder to:
1. ALWAYS LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS
2. REMOVE VALUABLES FROM YOUR CAR
3. LEAVE PORCH LIGHTS AND OTHER OUTDOOR LIGHTING ON
4. LOCK YOUR HOME DOORS AS WELL

New Siding Option
The board recently approved Hardie siding products as a replacement to the wood siding currently found on units. This should provide a longer lasting solution with more durability when replacing exterior panels.

The specific product will be added to the approved materials list and will still require architectural approval. It is expected to blend in with the current siding style.
We're Blooming!
HANGING BASKETS ADD SOME COLOR
After hearing from homeowners who would like more color from annual plants, we've added hanging baskets to the mail kiosks.

These are being maintained by volunteers so if you notice that a basket looks like it needs some water, please help out and give the plant a drink.
Window Option Added
Replacing windows is an expensive project. Recently the board added an additional vendor to help give homeowners another option that can potentially lower costs. We will be adding the new vendor to the list soon.
Dog Park Proposed
The Vernon River Plantation HOA board recently voted to take the process to the next step, as required by our bylaws. This entails a vote by homeowners. A ballot will be sent to homeowners in the coming weeks.
Pool Is Open

Dust off that key fob. It's almost pool season. The pool will be open on May 1. By the way, you may notice that the pool house has a new roof and over the winter, other system repairs were made.

Do you need a key/fob? If so, contact the management company at 912-236-7575.

If your key fob is not working properly, send an email to admin@psmofsavannah.com. Your email should include:
• Name
• Adddress
• Fob number (found on the fob)
• Your phone number
• Email addrdess for a reply
Dog Walker?
You gotta love all the doggos in the neighborhood. But nobody loves stepping in their "presents". Please be considerate and pick up after your pet.
